Late night and I want a snack. Open up the pantry and see that a night owl is the only thing left. Insomnia is what I taste as I imbibe a glass full of anxiety. My world moves fast and I can’t breathe. What’s next, pondering on the thought of tomorrow. The clock is ticking and it’s already tomorrow. Where did the night go I only thought it’s been an hour. Deceptive thoughts have drained my time to sleep. Press the alarm quickly before the agonizing sound is released. Pull back the sheets and prepare to brush my teeth. It’s time to go to work and prepare myself for the week. Hope it goes by fast so that I can do the same repetitive next week.
